Homebrew developer charnold should be no stranger to the PSP development community. Ever since the release of the well renowned PSP Dungeons Alpha source code, there's been a generous amount of FPS homebrew shooters available for PSP owners to download.

The latest shooter based on the homebrew engine is entitled PSP Dungeons: Assault Run 1.0. The developer explains that this is a simple shooter based on the PSP Dungeons engine.

Despite the "simplicity" of the game, it does feature very clean visuals and a rather smooth framerate. What makes Assault Run interesting is the time limit the stage imposes on the player.
